Crop Products
Pleasant View AG is a farm first. The products we offer are products we believe in and use on our own acres. We are not trying to carry everything available. We look for products that solve a real problem, fit into a grower’s existing program, and make sense economically. The goal is a practical crop program with farmer-friendly costs and a better return on the acre.
Start with the goal
Use this as a starting point, not a prescription. Product fit still depends on crop, timing, fertility, water, tank mix, equipment and current labels.
Pleasant View AG
We think about Canopy as a program with different jobs, not four interchangeable products. Final Typical Analysis, rates, placement and application guidance stay tied to current approved product documentation.
The humic-focused part of the program.
The fulvic-focused component.
The nutrient-focused component.
The crop-sugar component.
Humic-focused and primarily part of the planting side of our program. We use it around early root development and getting newly growing plants off to a strong start.
Current label, Typical Analysis and use guidance control final rate and application details.
The fulvic component we think of primarily for in-season passes. It fits alongside spray applications where we are thinking about uptake and helping the crop work through some of the stress associated with tougher chemistry.
Current label, Typical Analysis and use guidance control final rate and application details.
Our foliar nutrition piece with fulvic already built into the blend. We like the way it can fit into an existing herbicide or fungicide pass rather than creating another trip across the field.
Current label, Typical Analysis and use guidance control final rate and application details.
The most versatile product in the Canopy line for us. It is the sugar-based piece and can fit across much of the season. If we had to identify one Canopy product that comes closest to an “every-pass” product in our program, Candy would probably be it.
Current label, Typical Analysis and use guidance control final rate and application details.
The Canopy program is still relatively new in our operation, so we are continuing to collect data. So far, our field observations have included good emergence, less root burn, increased root mass and strong crop recovery following some of the harsher chemistry we use. Those are observations from our acres, not guaranteed outcomes for every field.
Why we built this page differently
Not every product belongs on every acre. We would rather understand what you are trying to improve, how the product fits the rest of the program, and what the current label supports than pretend one jug is the answer to everything.
We explain the intended role in plain language and keep technical details tied to current documentation.
We look at crop, timing, equipment, fertility or spray pass, water and the rest of the program.
Our photos and notes are field observations, not guaranteed outcomes.
If the problem is not there or the product does not fit, another input is not automatically better.
Beyond Canopy
These products have specific jobs in the program. Where we have personally used a product, we say so. Technical claims stay tied to current manufacturer and product documentation.
Phosphorus availability
NutriCharge is positioned around keeping applied phosphorus available and helping release phosphorus already tied up in the soil. We also have our own in-furrow comparison below.
Why it is here: we have used NutriCharge Liquid ourselves and have real field notes and root comparisons to show alongside manufacturer information.
Crop residue
Reclaim is a biological residue-management product positioned around residue breakdown, nutrient release and the soil environment going into the next crop.
Our use: Reclaim has become an important part of our no-till and strip-till program because residue breakdown matters to the way we farm. We have seen residue become easier to manage going into spring, which makes planting conditions more enjoyable and easier on equipment. We also look at that residue as nutrients we have already paid for. As more of it cycles back into the system, our goal is to maintain performance while reducing how much additional fertilizer we need to purchase.
Hard water & loading
ReadyWater is a concentrated spray-water conditioner designed to address hard-water antagonism and serve as an alternative to dry AMS where product and tank-mix labels support that use.
Our use: ReadyWater was new to our operation this season, and we used it across roughly 3,500 acres. We did not notice a drop in weed control in those applications, and the low use rate and easier handling compared with bagged AMS were major advantages. We plan to use it again next season, although we still see traditional sprayable AMS as a useful tool depending on the situation.
Planter-box efficiency
PowerPlant is a dry planter-box treatment that combines seed lubrication with NutriCharge chemistry and biological / micronutrient components.
Our use: we have used the standard PowerPlant product. Exact crop rates and analysis stay tied to the current technical sheet rather than becoming a blanket recommendation.
Phosphorus management
TriPhase is another NutriCharge formulation positioned around protecting applied phosphorus while helping release soil and mineral phosphorus reserves.
Our use: We are testing TriPhase on our own operation for the first time this season, particularly around soils where high calcium and magnesium are part of the conversation. We are waiting until harvest before drawing conclusions from our own use, and we will add those observations once we have something meaningful to report.
Technical library
We are building this library around current labels, technical sheets and manufacturer resources. Our own observations are kept separate so it is clear what came from our farm.
Planning tool
Once you know the correct label-approved rate for your situation, use this calculator to estimate total product and container count. It does not recommend a rate.
Always read and follow current product and tank-mix partner labels. Container estimate rounds up.
How Pleasant View AG approaches it
Crop, acres, fertility, water, timing, equipment and what you already do all matter.
Rates, compatibility, safety and application details come from current labels and resources.
Our farm observations are useful context, not a promise another field will respond the same way.
From our own fields
Actual field photos from the same comparison.
The plant/roots on the left got typical starter (6-26-6), Zinc, and Diverse K @ 5 gal/acre. It cost aprox. $36/acre to apply and we saw a smaller stalk, a much smaller root system, and less brace roots. The plant/roots on the right got NutriCharge, Canopy Candy, Canopy Foundation and a carrier of 4 gal/acre of water. It cost aprox. $15/acre to apply and we saw a much thicker stalk, longer thicker roots, and additional brace roots.
Dug from the same field at the same time. Both treatments were planted the same day.
Field observation: Photos and notes are from our own operation. They show what we observed under those conditions and are not a guarantee of the same response in other fields. Follow current product labels and applicable tank-mix partner labels.
We do not judge every crop-product trial by whether it adds bushels. If two programs finish at the same yield but one lets us reduce input cost, that can still be a better result. We look at what we spent, what the crop did, how the field behaved and what ultimately happened to return per acre.
Smaller stalk, fewer brace roots, and smaller root system.
Thicker stalk, more brace roots, and thicker, longer root system.
Significant difference in root size, brace roots, stalk size, and overall length of roots between the two.
this was a documented comparison with a check and multiple fertility / biological treatments. The photos are presented as field observations rather than a promise that every field will respond the same way.
All dug up the same day, planted the same day just hours apart.
Field observation: Photos and notes are from our own operation. They show what we observed under those conditions and are not a guarantee of the same response in other fields. Follow current product labels and applicable tank-mix partner labels.
This plant had nothing applied in-furrow.
5 gal/acre 6-26-6, 32oz Zinc, 32oz Diverse K applied in-furrow.
MyycoMaxx applied in-furrow by itself.
6.4oz NutriCharge, 32oz Canopy Candy, 16oz Canopy Foundation, and 4 gal/acre water.
From our own fields
We would rather show what we actually saw than build a page around generic claims. These photos came from our own field work and are paired with the notes recorded with those comparisons.
We pulled plants and compared the above-ground crop and root systems. The photos below are the actual plant-dig images from that field-work set.
What the notes support: The NutriCharge Plants were much thicker, taller, healthier, with much more of a root system. Both planted in the same field/day.
Right Image: 6.4oz nutricharge / left image: water check
These soybean photos were documented two days after a Flexstar application as part of our recovery observations.
What the field notes say: the recovery-pass notes reference Canopy Candy with the Canopy Absorb product; We are showing the photos and the timing exactly as a field observation, not claiming the photos prove a guaranteed response.
This comparison set came from the same Pleasant View AG field-work archive and focuses on early corn and root development.
What the notes support: The Corn Comparison on the left documented comparison includes a 6.4 oz NutriCharge treatment, a water in-furrow check, and MycoMaxx. The Root Comparison on the right documented comparison includes a 6.4oz NutriCharge treatment vs a water in-furrow check.
Comparison labels in the source notes
These are real observations from our operation. Results can vary with environment, timing, rate, fertility, crop condition, water quality and other management factors. Current product labels and tank-mix partner labels control actual use.
